Compelled to sign fraudulent paperwork during interview

Earlier this year, I got a response to a resume for a potential job. This was a contract-to-hire position.

Because the manager was very busy, the recruiter asked me to work a paid day as a "working interview". I agreed, and she told me I would first have to go to a regional non-profit workforce program as part of an "On the job training" program. At this appointment, I signed a huge stack of paperwork including forms that said I had completed various training programs (which I had not). The job market being what it is, I just completed the paperwork because I really needed the job.

After the appointment I proceeded to the company's office and met them for the first time and proceeded to successfully work the rest of the "working interview" day. I was there for 2 months before being terminated.

I am concerned that a file is sitting somewhere with what amounts to fraudulent documents signed by me. I also wonder if this employer is accountable to me for basically compelling me to lie during an interview. I am not sure what this misconduct would be called on their part?

You shouldn't worry about things that haven't happened. If I were you, if asked, I'd develop a memory malfunction.

No one will ever mention anything about an oversight, unless you bring it up.
