I was forced out of a job in which I was vested in. This all occurred when I pointed out a grave injustice that occurred when myself and 2 others were purposely left off a special team recognition which also came with a stipend. However a member of the team who was out on medical leave was added to the recognition for not doing any of the work. BecUse I pointed out the unfairness I was placed in a hostile work environment. I was severely chastised where, my annual raise, and nouns was taking away, my sabbatical was taken away as well. I tried to leave the department over 40 times to only find out I was being blacklisted. I was forced out after 12 and 1/2 years.
I was alienated, bullied to no end where my health was at risk.

The term, hostile work environment, has a very specific meaning in employment law. What you have described does not meet the definition. Not even close.

Other than that, did you have a legal question?

Betty: Agree, probably not Hostile environment, but do you see a possible retaliation claim here? I know retaliation seems to be a battle-cry for everything these days, but based on the OP's post, he/she voiced a grievance of unfair treatment and suffered the loss of a raise, and sabbatical. Of course the employer may have legitimate justification for the actions taken.
