I was terminated from a position without any notice, warning, or meeting. I was on my way into work and called in to let my supervisor know that I would be a little late, and he called me back and said there was no need for you to come in today. I asked, why and he said because yesterday I was gone for 3 hours and that was not true at all. He also stated that I did not know how to talk to people and that is not true. There were a bunch of lies compiled against me for no apparent reason. The final word was that the office manager felt threatned by me because of my leadership skills and my strong personality. So do I have any grounds for an investigation or not?

What I think is wrong is firing me for no apparent reason. I did not do anything wrong and now I am out of a job with no income. Doesn't that account for anything?

Most likely not.

I'll ask again.

Specifically, what law do you believe was violated in terminating your employment? What actions taken by your employer do you believe was a violation of law that would interest a regulatory agency in spending taxpayer money to investigate it?

There is a difference between "wrong" and "illegal".
