Getting last paycheck after being fired

I was just fired from my position. By law, when is my employer required to pay me for my time worked and accumulated vacation time? My previous employer is very notorious for holding paychecks after being let go. I live in Michigan. Any advice would be appreciated.

Contact the labor board (or whatever it is called up there).

In Michigan, final pay is due on the next regular payday.
