I was fired from job on 08/08/2008 for possible discrimination. A week prior to this I had called my human resources director and filed a complaint against my management saying that i feel attacked and that they are just out to get me. I feel as though they retaliated against me because not only did I get fired after that complaint but then they shorted my final week of pay by 1.5 hours and it was the manager that I had expressed the most concern about that submitted it. I dont know if I can do anything but I really would appreciate some advice. Thank you very much.

You're going to have to give more detail about the complaint you filed before anyone can give you any meaningful advice.

I told the human resource director that if anything ever goes wrong at all they blame everything on me. That I feel like I was attacked and they just wanted to get rid of me. That I feel like I can't even ask them questions or for help or anything at all. thats the basics of the conversation. She asked for specific details and I had told her that the assistant manager insists that I can help myself. That I got a significant event without my branch manager even talking to me about a situation where I said to the assistant that she is my manager I don't know what to do can you help me? They were finding any little thing I said to give me enough events to where they could just get rid of me.

Based on the information you've provided, this was not illegal discrimination, illegal harassment or illegal retaliation. It is not illegal to nit-pick your performance and complaining that they were doing so is also not protected.
