Got a ticket for an improper left turn in NYC. However, the ticket contains an ambiguity: Section and subdivision violation code is written as 1160A, which according to 'N.Y. VAT. LAW § 1160 : NY Code - Section 1160: Required position and method of turning at intersections' corresponds to a right turn while the Description and the Place of occurrence sections of the ticket indicate a left turn.
Does this ambiguity qualifies this ticket for the dismission?
Thank you.

Nope, if you mention it, the city attorney will simply motion to amend the error.
You can't stop a scammer from getting his tribute.
Traffic school can eliminate some pain, if its available to you.
Also DEFERRED ADJUDICATION (unsupervised probation for 60-90 days) and it'll all be cleansed, too.

It won't be dismissed, it will be corrected if necessary.
To get a dismissal you would need to show the citation was issued in error.
