I would like to know if i can do something against my old boss to get rehired, over a year ago I quit and i was 4 months pregnant. My boss was out of town but before she left she knew that 2 other coworkers were very problematic, I quit because i just couldn't take it anymore and been pregnant was even harder for me to keep dealing with them. My ex-boss won't take me back because I quit but she would take back all the time another co-worker that would get arrested every other week and would not give notice of what was going on. After I quit i found out she had accepted that person again after getting arrested.

Sorry, a job isn't a right.
An employer doesn't have to rehire you, or offer you a reason why they won't.
But, you're free to seek employment elsewhere.
You can even start your own business, compete with your former employer and drive them out of business. Good luck.

Concur entirely with AJ. There is no law you can invoke that will force the employer to rehire you. Just because they rehired the other person does not mean they are obligated to rehire you.

Agree with AJ & cbg. Also, how does your employer know you will not quit again? Anyway, your employer does not have to hire you back.
