My old boss was my mother, she got fired because they said that they sent her an email telling her that she needed to get a drug test done. They gave her no real notice to go take a drug test, even the letter you're supposed to take to the drug testing place wasn't sent to her. No such email was sent either, but they still fired her.
When I got back the next week myself and my mothers boyfriend were sent home because two of the employees said that that myself, my husband, my mother and her boyfriend called all them and threatened to kill them. My boss also said 12 other employees also said that we called them an threatened to kill them as well. Counting us both there were only 9 other employees. We were brought back after an "investigation" nothing happened to the employees that said we threatened them.
My mothers boyfriend who kept working after she did was fired because they said he said he left at a different time then from what he really did. They asked me what time I left and I said I couldn't remember. He was fired then they tried to tell me that I said that I said I left at the same time he said. I denied it they fired him and left me alone.
Today I got a phone message from my boss saying that the job was doing lay offs and myself and five other people are getting laid off. This is right after he hired two more people the day before.
I know it may be a stretch but is any of this illegal??? Thank you in advance.
