Speed Racing 811.125 ticket

So im a teenager who was recently flagged over for "speed racing". i was in an area i was unfamiliar with due to getting a call from someone and needing to pull over. after my call, i started driving again and realized that i was lost. i was driving is a quiet residential area and found a small side street to turn around in.

I drive a 1990 Honda accord that's bone-stock with a manual transmission. i just cleaned and shined my recently replaced tires. as i was turning around my tires squealed a bit and i accelerated in 1 gear for roughly 3 seconds when i see a cop standing in the middle of the street waving me over to the side of the road. i roll down my window and give him my information. he's yelling at me for "burning out" and said that i was going at least 45 mph in a 25. i got a $435 ticket for "speed racing".

how can i fight this because its physically impossible for my car to go that fast in 3 seconds. plus he didn't have me on radar or a dash cam until i was pulled over and he had my information (he took it and went to his car and pulled behind me). i was completely respectful and he was yelling at me for "burning out" and "going at least 45 mph" until he was on camera. I 1, didnt know what the speed limit was and 2, wasnt going 45 however i may have been going 30-35 i really dont know. any advice because i really need help getting this ticket reduced.

i haven't sent in my ticket but the court date is the 31st of march

You're about to see a very dirty secret exposed, traffic court.
Very few people prevail in traffic court especially on speed related citations.
Why?
Its a revenue collection scheme for government.
That said, all you cna do is try.
If traffic school is an option, that works.
If deferred adjudication is available, it works too.
Good luck.

The max fine on this can be $2000. I suggest you consult a local traffic lawyer to see if perhaps an amended charge of a lower class could be obtained.
