Speeding Ticket

Recently received a Speeding Ticket for 49 in a 35. Have heard about Prayer for Judgement. Need information of use of this. Is it a one time thing to be saved for very serious event. Someone said you can use PFJ once in a three year period. Is there a time period for PFJ for someone else said it was just a one time event.

How did the officer get your speed? Radar, laser or vascar.
Did you see the speed on device used?
Were other cars around?
How far away was the police officer?
Was he infront, at an angle?

Per the ticket it was Radar, I did not see the device. Yes there were other cars around. Was in a small NC Town, 4 lane, 2 in each direction, Light Traffic approx 9 am. I was in the inside lane and the officer was parked facing the traffic from the Right Side. Just was not paying attention to my speed, travel this road daily to and from work. Did not question the officer at all. He just informed me he was stopping me for speeding. Had License out an ready when he approached my vehicle, figured the damage was already done.

Can the PFJ be use prior to Court or do you have to go to Court on the Date given on the Ticket and request it?

NC Prayer for Judgement

The household can use the PFJ once every three years. Since this is a minor ticket you may want to go in and see if the ADA will just drop it to an under 10mph violation and save the PFJ. It is up to you and you can call the clerk of court to see if the ADA has office hours where you can go in before your court date.
