Speeding ticket

I am 18 years old, and recently had a birthday and I have not yet upgraded from my class D license to a class C. I recently got pulled over for going 98 on a highway (the limit was 70). This is my FIRST offense. I read that if I am under 21 and I exceed the speed limit by 24 or higher then my license is automatically suspended for 6 months. I am scheduled to appear in court in May. Is there anything that I can do to avoid the suspension? Or reduce the fine? And would Nolo be beneficial? (If so what the world is nolo?)

You probably mean nolo contendere - pleading no contest (you accept punishment without accepting or denying responsibility for the act). You might want to talk to a traffic law attorney - he/she should be able to get you the best outcome possible.
