I am a NY resident and received a ticket on my way to a trip. So, as I was driving the officer had his lights flashing as he was responding to a call or something. I moved aside and let him pass. I got back on the lane after he was in front of me and was driving on a cruise control at speed set at 74. The officer pressed his break and moved to the right lane and went behind me and pulled me over. He comes to my window and just says license and registration and tells me I was doing 85. I wanted to ask him a question but he just walked away with my license and insurance and wrote me a ticket in 5 minutes and left the scene with his lights flashing. I did not get the opportunity to ask questions or anything. The whole process was in 5 minutes. On the ticket he said I was driving 90+ and he checked off X-Posted, X-Clocked , X-Radar, X-Estimated and put a fine of 250. Can someone help me understand this ticket please as I don't know the other things he wrote.

Thank you in advance

I suggest you investigate traffic school, pleading deferred adjudication, or hire yourself a great MA lawyer and see if a MA lawyer can assist you.
You were there and fail to understand, no way anyone who wasn't there could know more than you do.

If you are willing to go back to MA then have your day in court and make the office prove how your speed was determined.
If going back to MA is too much hassle then you are stuck paying the fine.

If you don't want to pay the ticket & are willing to pursue further, talk to a Ma. traffic law attorney - he/she can help you get the best outcome possible.
