Political Humor and Satire - Guaranteed to Offend Somebody

One never knows how things end, or turn out.

One can only wait patiently to see if the individual(s) prosper or perish.

Mine is not to reason why, or understand.

I'm in charge of "nuttin", because I'm the dude aptly known as "Dewin Nuttin".

In keeping with the title of this thread, fair warning, the following commercial may be offensive to some, but it's hilarious.

I'm guessing those were spoof ads for the comedic value. A real business airing ads like that is painting a big bull's eye target on its back with the phrase under it that says "Sue Me".

The songwriter would have even more material to work with using Donald Trump as his subject. Both parties are lacking in candidates with the kind of intelligence I would expect of those who are in the top positions in government. Every election cycle seems to bring even worse choices than the last. It's been a goldmine for political comedians.

MIT researchers have discovered the densest element yet known to science.
The new element, Governmentium (symbol=Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.
These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called pillocks.
Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.
A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete.
Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2 to 6 years.
It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganisation in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.
In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganisation will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.
This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration.
This hypothetical quantity is referred to as a critical morass.
When catalysed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium (symbol=Ad), an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium, since it has half as many pillocks but twice as many morons.

That photo is way too small for me to read or even identify anyone in the photos. For an idea, it's about the size of your sun avatar. When I click on it to see if I can make it bigger I get a message that says I don't have permission to view that page. I can get around that by having my computer copy the image instead, but when I increase the size to point where it should be readable the low resolution makes to pixilated to really make out much. When ArmyJudge posts photos/images the same problem comes up too.

I'm in the same boat as TC. It takes me to a page generated by the forum saying:
Oops! We ran into some problems.

You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.

Did that happen when you clicked on the photo in post #156 or the earlier photo?

The photo in post #156 should enlarge to be readable.

Click on the picture and let me know if it gets large enough for you to read.

Can't open that one at all. Looking at the file name it ends i.5549 rather than .jpg
That unconventional file type of 5549 appears to be one reconfigured by this site from a .jpg file. As a result no photo editing program I have recognizes it and I get an error. When I changed the file type to .jpg I still get the error. The site evidently is set up to ensure that no posted photos can be copied in any form to plop into some other program. I suspect this has to do with ensuring that there will no copyright infringment violations.
