    No, I have not had a similar experience. I have never stolen anything in my life. We can only tell you that most likely it will be all over if you pay the civil demand. There is no way we can know for sure.

    In at-will employment you can be terminated at any time for any reason except for a reason prohibited by law (such as religion, race, gender....) or unless you have a binding employment contract to the contrary. This termination would not be illegal. Sorry.

    Probably/maybe the one bedroom is all they can afford - not illegal to have the kids share. Re leaving the kids alone at 10 & 8, the parents have to decide based on various considerations.
