It depends on the state where you worked as to when you final paycheck is due you. If you don't receive any paychecks when due, then file a wage claim. (generally with your state dept. of labor)

You need to discuss your case & options with a lawyer & talk only to the lawyer. If you cannot afford a lawyer - when you go to court, plead not guilty & request a public defender.
I don't think it is still showing up in the thread when OP picks a state from drop down menu. I understand it is being worked on though. I still rarely see a state unless OP happens to post it in his/her post besides choosing it from drop down menu. It seems here OP did choose a state but...
There is a forum problem with the state showing up in the thread after you choose it from the drop down menu. It wasn't your fault.

I just went & noted the IP address - some responders will reply based on it in that it "might" be correct state. That is why I said IP address is NJ & not that state which applies is NJ. (We don't know.) We still need more details.
It seems there is a requirement that you enroll if accepted. You certainly can talk to a lawyer or two re the consequences allowed if you don't enroll. Good luck.
