I just need to know if my mom has a wrongful termination case

A lot of things happen in the workplace that people think are "unfair" or unjust but they are not illegal. Employers can for the most part fire for any reason or no reason at all. There are a handful of specific things that fall under the category of wrongful termination and this situation...

    Concerning downpayment refund

Start there. If they say sure no problem here's your refund then all is well. If they say no, ask them the reason. Then go home and read what you signed and see if you find your answer there.

VIN on title does not match antique vehicle

It is rare but the people at the DMV do make typos once in a while. If the dealer is looking into the matter then you should give them a little time to research and correct the matter if they can.

Had to replace the gauge cluster in my car, previous owner called police

I don't believe that placing the ad was a crime.(where's the victim?) Even if you had sold the car, vehicles that are 10 years old are exempt from having to disclose miles. Odd behavior from the police in my opinion.

Bought a car with other person's name on title.

My guess is that she bought the car from the other person and she never paid the taxes and fees to have it put in her name. You really should not have to contact this other person and they have no obligation whatsoever to you. Your purchase was from her and she has the obligation to provide you...

    i was let go

All you can do at this point is continue to apologize and hope they are willing to give you another chance. I had a boss who said all the time that "perception is everything." You may not have intended to threaten anyone and maybe you don't get it, but if someone truly felt threatened, well...

They are under no obligation to follow through with a verbal offer, just like you could change your mind and decide not to sell.

Can taxes be charged twice based on language in contract?

The only possibility is if the 1.76 is not sales tax but some other type of tax. Call them and ask them to explain. Go to the source.

    Tenant

Sure but in the long run is it worth it. Not for me to decide, just saying it's worth thinking it all the way through.

You also need to consider that even though they may not be able to legally force you out until proper notice is given, etc, they can sure make your life miserable in the interim.

"why do I keep getting told this stuff and it never seems to happen" No idea. Ask them. If you don't like their answers, you are free to seek employment elsewhere. No one can make them keep their promises.
