    custody

It could be perceived as a negative if your child would have to get up an hour earlier on school days with you.

    English please

Or you can back to your boss and let him know that you have researched the matter and find that it is NOT discriminatory. If it is presented to your employees properly and with the explanations that you have outlined you should be fine.

    custody

What matters is what is best for the child and routines are essential when school starts. You can of course speak to the judge and convince him/her that you can establish a routine and bring the child to school (on time). You may get a ruling in your favor, who knows all you can do is try...

Car owner but not the driver

Yes, take your car back immediately. It belongs to you, you have all the responsibility for it and he has ZERO legal standing to keep it and drive it.

Joint Custody who should pay Child support?

Seems reasonable to me. But then I'm not the judge who will decide. Threats don't mean anything. Actions do. Ignore the threats and deal with it in court if he follows through.

Can I sue uninsured motorist for difference ins didn't cover

Normally all vehicles owned by the dealership are automatically insured. If the vehicle belonged to the dealer as an individual then the dealership would not be a party to the suit. Just for fun have you tried calling the dealer or the driver to see if they will take responsibility?

    Wage Hours

It's not illegal unless the document signed could be considered a contract. No way to know without seeing it. You could approach him again and ask "I understand that minimum wage for minors is $7.75 but I was promised $8.75 in writing." The most likely response will be "Oh I didn't realize you...

    Disability Hearings

"Some conditions simply don't qualify, unless you know the "magic words" which bumps the approval rate to about 90%+." Can you expand on this a little more army judge? My brother just got his initial denial. Also do you know if a person only gets one shot at an appeal?

Bought car, counterfeit title, has lien

If the bank has a balance and a lien then you don't have a prayer of acquiring a clear title in your name. "In the future, never pay for a car from a private seller until you prove the title exists, and it is free of any liens." I will add to that, you should only be purchasing from the person...

Can my boyfriend's check be garnished?

Not unless he signed some agreement to be responsible for them.

    Refund Law

I don't believe there is a specific law. You could take them to small claims court and possibly win, but they would likely counterclaim for any damage to the vehicle and for miles you drove the vehicle and possibly a rental fee. Soo, depending on the amount of the down payment and how long you...

If your mother gives her permission for you to live with Grandmother that would be the easiest solution.

Bought car, counterfeit title, has lien

If Bank of America does have a balance owed then you might as well call them and turn it over to them. You know you've been conned, so why make it worse by trying to hide the car from them. However, you may find that the bank lien was satisfied, but the lien not removed with the state. With a...

How does Social Security collect overpayment - No dispute on my part

Well they should only withhold the benefit until the overage is paid then the benefits should start up again. Please note I wrote "should" more than once :).

How does Social Security collect overpayment - No dispute on my part

If you are truly disciplined enough to set aside the overpayments, then you should be able to deal with however they take it back. For example if it is #1 and they withhold benefits, then you would pay yourself each month out of what you saved.

    chiropractic malpractice

I agree that at best you might be entitled to a refund of the chiropractic services, but they probably won't give that up easily. You can't sue for something that hypothetically might have happened. Thank goodness you had the sense to go to a real doctor.

    Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Theft

You seem shocked that you might go to prison. What did you think would happen when you got caught? If you don't have the money for a lawyer, then you obviously don't have the money to pay them back. Not that paying back would necessarily keep you out of prison either.

Wage issues, no overtime pay, wage theft

It's definitely wrong. Be sure that you keep records of all time worked and keep copies of your paychecks. Just the fact that they are giving you a separate check of hours over 40 is a big red flag.

    Lawsuit

Sure you can ask a friend to help you paint your house and you can give them a little cash as a thank you. Not as a business transaction. You say that he "hired" a friend and you mention a "job site". If he's running a business and doesn't know anything about the law, he needs to get some...
