Find a new job? Some people are extremely rude yes. But it's up to company policy on rude calls and what to do.

    Custudy help

It seems odd her kid has to have her own room. I didn't think they usually demanded that in custody cases. What if she finds a one bedroom apartment and that's all she can afford on her own? I mean if she has to find her own place, she does. I don't have to worry about any of that. I have no...

    DCPP

Are you doing everything they told you to do? Do you have somewhere to live? Do you have a job? If he's the more dependable parent right now, they will let him have custody. Stay off drugs. Do what DCPP says to do to get the kid back.

Can a Teenage Parent be Emancipated?

That's what I told her and then she got all pissy. I haven't seen any more comments on that thread since then - and I've had to ask the admin there to re-add me 3 times because she thinks she has a rogue moderator who is deleting people to get them to come to their group.

So listen to your counsel - if you're paying a lawyer then do that the lawyer says.

Can a Teenage Parent be Emancipated?

That's what I kept saying and posting things from online but she swears up and down it happened but didn't tell me what state the girl lived in. These mom groups...I swear some of the things posted...when it comes to custody things I tell them go find a lawyer because no one in the group is...

Can a Teenage Parent be Emancipated?

The person who posted said her friend was underage like her when she had a kid. Everything I could find said that having a child as a teenager does not emancipate a child - only marriage, military service would do so or if they go through the emancipation process. The woman didn't ever say what...

Other Criminal Charges & Offenses Minor steals car from grandparent

With my ex stepson - he hasn't had a chance so far in his life. No stable adults at all. His mom was 17 when she got pregnant, my ex was 19. They barely knew each other. Met and hooked up in a hot tub. He forgot about her until nine months later and he was hanging out with two of her friends and...

Can a Teenage Parent be Emancipated?

Someone posted in this mom's group asking if there was any state where parental consent wasn't required to get married...and someone replied about emancipation. They said that in some states a teenager who gives birth can get emancipated and swears she has a friend who lived in a neighboring...

Former Boyfriend Threatening A Child Custody Case

Stop going back to him. He's an abusive sociopath. Letting someone watch your kid while at work is not abandonment. If he hasn't established paternity he has no rights. So you take him to court first and file for custody and at most supervised visitation. When you saw him beat his son did you...

Other Criminal Charges & Offenses Minor steals car from grandparent

I guess he didn't get arrested - the stepgrandpa's FB is public and he was posting all about it and his truck was missing and posted in an exchange my brother is in. He blocked me after I laughed at him and said karma is a bitch huh? They knew what would happen and he's a horrible, abusive man...

Other Criminal Charges & Offenses Minor steals car from grandparent

They didn't tell me. My ex's oldest daughter told me that he stole their stepgrandpa's car and grandma's phone and took off. But after work I had a message that said he got arrested. So he probably made it back to his hometown and the police got him for stealing from his mom's boyfriend last...

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Military AAFES PX Larceny

It's just irritating to see this as a senior NCO and of all the warrants and officers I've worked with the past almost 15 years...I just don't get it. I could see some dumb new private doing it. Or a dependent. Not a WO or commissioned officer. Or a NCO.

Other Criminal Charges & Offenses Minor steals car from grandparent

But he was just visiting for the week. Oh I know she did but that's what she does. She thinks because she works in a halfway house and she's barely into getting her Bachelor's in counseling that she is a drug counselor already...and disregarding people should never counsel their family if they...

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Military AAFES PX Larceny

Seriously you're an officer and you stole from the PX?????? What is wrong with you? You make more than enough money after 13 years and an officer that you can afford to buy things. Even as a warrant officer. Especially for a warrant officer you know better you were a NCO right? Good grief.

Other Criminal Charges & Offenses Minor steals car from grandparent

Honestly I don't really care that this happened but I'm confused by the response. Apparently my ex's oldest son is turning into a little thug like him - 15 years old and doing meth, stole from his mom and her boyfriend and then grandma (ex MIL) came to rescue him thinking she could square him...

    Parent needs help

Missouri adjusts age of adult to 18 Clay County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Shannon Ryser said this would not affect his office much. The juvenile system determines if those under 18 should be certified as an adult based on the crime and mentality of the individual. That process will remain...

    Parent needs help

Yes he is still a minor in Missouri. They just treat runaways differently than other states. But the age of majority is 18 and hence he is a minor. I don't think they're charged as adults for ANY criminal action.
