    Giving custody to grandparents

Yes I'm very well aware that single parents with custody can't join. I have been in the Army 14 years...so please don't try to educate me about it. That's why I said be sure you want to do that because you could not make it through boot camp, not make it through training and not make it through...

Guardianship of a 17 year old

I would not let him around 10-12 year olds at 17. Mentally he may not be 17 but once he's an adult - at 18 - things can get tricky for him. I wouldn't put him in a situation that could go wrong.

    what can i do

You have no legal guardianship unless a court grants it to you. Being a "godmother" isn't a legal thing. At all. It's pretty much religious. That girls is 15. Until she's 18 her mother controls her or whoever has custody. The boy who may or may not have impregnated her has no rights over her...

    DHS

The Department of Homeland Security? (That's DHS). Do you mean DHHS? Go talk to a lawyer. That's your only hope or the parents need to get a lawyer.

    Giving custody to grandparents

The process is going to a lawyer who can help to transfer custody. Are you sure you're getting into the Marines if you give up custody? What happens if you don't make it through boot camp or your MOS school? You can't give temporary custody - legally. Also the other parent can step in and try...

Soldier wants custody after wife sold baby she claimed had died

Just because things are outlawed doesn't mean it stops criminals from breaking that law. Look at Prohibition...look what that did. Slavery was outlawed but it still exists in the form of human trafficking. At least they got caught before the kid had grown up any. I hope this guy can get the...

Soldier wants custody after wife sold baby she claimed had died

This soldier is in for a hell of a fight if he really wants to adopt that child. Long, expensive fight. I feel badly for the baby. Poor kid.

https://nypost.com/2018/05/17/soldier-wants-custody-after-wife-sold-baby-she-claimed-had-died/ An American soldier is waging war with the state of Arizona for custody of a baby boy that his estranged wife claimed died at birth — but actually sold to another couple, reports said. And Sgt...

    Paternity fraud

Is paternity fraud even a legal action or thing? What are you hoping to sue her for? You can't get those years back. She's 22 now - or when you found out. She's an adult. Go build a relationship now. Attacking her mother won't help that. My best friend's dad found out he had another daughter...

New charge in different state, on probation

The police don't go looking for people unless it's something really serious. A probation violation - not so much. If you had a warrant for murder and they knew where you lived, perhaps. My ex husband has had a warrant in one state since 2013...for simple assault. They're not going to come...

Other Criminal Charges & Offenses video camera with audio installed in house is the legal

I think he mentioned establishing paternity so that you don't have to live with her and ensure you have court ordered custody so you can see the kid. Living with an ex for "the kid" is just a bad recipe for disaster. Kids know when parents don't like each other. You should not have moved in...

    Voluntary resignation affecting child support

Non custodial fathers or any NCP are not second class citizens. It's not like it used to be. What does the court order say about if your husband moved away? Usually if the NCP causes the distance than he or she has to do the driving. My ex husband's order with his other ex wife says that if...
