Try to be a bit patient and see how it goes........Litigation is long, and not worth the time and money on such an issue. Hopefully they would act right soon.
You need to read the policy.........You can't get it your way. Must of the time, these guys are smart and make you accept the terms somewhere before buying the ticket. Only the policy is valid now and should guide you on what you can do.
If you feel company B attorney is not addressing your interest well, you better get one if you can afford one. Company B's attorney is primarily concerned about the company's interest not yours, even if they claim they are.

If you are out of the US, you simply need to visit your local US embassy. In most cases, you can use your birth certificate and proof of citizenship to visit the US. But simply pay a visit to the embassy to make sure everything is fine.....
These immigration officers are human.........They sometimes get lazy too and would not get overzealous............If they had seen or discovered anything already, they should have asked you. Just pray it goes on well........No one can predict if they would find it or not. You could get lucky.
You are still legal and have no problem with immigration. But they have the right as a company to require it if it is their policy that each worker has to comply with new green cards with expiration dates.
