WWGWD-- that is right what would George Washington do?

So, where is your evidence that any organization has done so?

WWGWD-- that is right what would George Washington do?

I said that's information you would need in order to successfully vote under someone else's identity, in my district. And yes, to successfully vote under someone else's identity in my district, you would need all of that information. If you didn't have it, you'd be caught at the time; if you...

WWGWD-- that is right what would George Washington do?

In order to vote under someone else's name here, you'd have to one, know the name of the person you intended to impersonate. Two, you'd need to know that person's address. Three, you'd need to know their registered political affiliation. Four, you'd need to know without question that the...

WWGWD-- that is right what would George Washington do?

Not required to show an ID in my precinct. And the way they manage it, only one person would be able to vote under each name; a second person trying would immediately be caught. As for dead people voting, well, since dead people aren't allowed to vote in my state, I guess you're the one who's...

WWGWD-- that is right what would George Washington do?

But that's not what you said, You said no one should be allowed to vote who doesn't have a state issued id. She was (she's passed away now but that's not the point) a registered voter but for various reasons no longer had a state ID. By your earlier definition she was therefore barred from voting.

WWGWD-- that is right what would George Washington do?

No, not in Massachusetts she can't get one for the asking. At the age of 64 I could get one online. But once you pass the age of 75 you have to physically go to an RMV office and stand in line to prove your identity before you can get a state issued ID. Sure, she could prove her identity. She...

WWGWD-- that is right what would George Washington do?

So you're going to tell an 80-something woman who has never lived anywhere but the US that she's not entitled to vote in the country she's been a citizen of her entire life unless she goes to an RMV office (required in my state if you are over 75 - make sense of that one) to prove her identity...

WWGWD-- that is right what would George Washington do?

So. The mother of a friend of mine, at the age of 80-something, voluntarily surrendered her drivers license because of vision issues that made her uncomfortable with driving. She never opted to substitute a state-issued ID because she didn't feel she needed one. She was rarely if ever in a...

Harassment, Stalking, Misconduct Looking at a woman’s butt.

There's looking, acknowledging silently with as much admiration you care to use that, "hey, that's some nice stuff there" and going about your business. Then there's a prolonged stare-and-leer beyond the few seconds that most people give to whoever else is on the sidewalk. The first is fine...

    How are they not illegal?

I agree. No question about it. I'm not equating the two but adding an additional suggestion to the ones offered by PayrollDude as to why lesser ailments such as colds were not seen as much this past year.

    Bizarre behavior busted!

Local story for me. The comments on the story in the Globe are interesting, to say the least.

Do they have to provide a copy of my NDA?

I don't know what, if any, decisions CT has made as to that. To be safe, I'd stick to old fashioned paper and pen. Also, my NDA's and the non-compete's that our source of funding insisted upon were stored together - again, not in the personnel file. By all means check, but if it's not in the...

Do they have to provide a copy of my NDA?

Connecticut law requires that, upon your WRITTEN request, you must be permitted to see and, if you like, copy, your personnel file. So if we assume that the NDA is in your personnel file, yes. Chapter 563a - Personnel Files The link spells out the specifics. I could find no specific reference...

I command to be reinstated on a website bulletin board

And you know something? Even if a lawyer were to tell him to un-ban you, he is free to disregard your "command" and absolutely nothing will happen to him. It's entirely his opt whether to ban you or not and all your "commands" are legally worthless.

Finance, Investments SEC/FINRA broker impersonator, ongoing fraud scheme.

I am going to say this one more time. This is not an appropriate forum for a matter of this complexity. If you persist in trying to advance your issue here, I will be locking the thread.

Under what circumstances are you legally protected from breaking a company policy

If you are looking for a law that says, "When X, Y, and Z happens an employee may not be disciplined/fired for the violation of the related company policies", there isn't one. There may, however, be extremely fact-specific, subject to state law, situations in which that may be the end result.
