    LLC and Trust

Overlooked your question. Yes, it's a grantor trust. So, if there were income, deductions, and credits, we would each address them in our personal returns?

    LLC and Trust

It's a privacy issue. Convoluted but we had to keep our names off of public record. Recorded deed just in the name of the trust would have shown the trustees names. Thanks for your help, as always - much appreciated.

    Lease Renewal Amount Discrepancy

Seems to me that you have a binding contract at the rate of $999 per month. Keep that locked up in a safe place and keep copies in case you have hand one over to somebody. Don't let loose of the original. When you next pay your rent, pay $999 and see how it goes.

    LLC and Trust

My daughter and I have an LLC that owns our home. The deed is in the name of the LLC. We have a Revocable Living Trust. The trust is 100% owner of the LLC. We live in the home and are not deriving any income. Do we have to file a federal income tax return?

    Lease Renewal Amount Discrepancy

You signed the lease but did the landlord (or landlord's agent) also sign the lease. In other words do you have a lease with your signature and the landlord's signature on it? If your lease only has your signature on it, you do not have a contract that binds the landlord to the amount shown...

Questions about court procedures (going to trial pro se)

What does that question have to do with what happened TODAY. Answer: Nothing. Your ex wants unsupervised visitation based on conditions TODAY. You have to prove that your ex is not suitable for unsupervised visitation based on conditions that exist TODAY.

Questions about court procedures (going to trial pro se)

Yeah, we get that all the time. People provide vague information that doesn't reveal the actual facts and get answers that are useless. Your question: If you were actually going to ask that question it would be objected to and the judge would rule against you because you are not offering the...

Chasing Amazon through Small Claims Court

I doubt that anybody here can answer your question. Might see if there is a UK law subreddit at https://www.reddit.com/ However, the best answer is more likely to come from the opposing attorneys. Ask them if they will accept documents transmitted by email. Make sense?

Florida HOA sued by family of victim in Airbnb triple homicide

Tragedy, terrible loss. My heart goes out to them. But Gee, let's sue the gun manufacturer, the Sheriff, and the criminal justice system for turning this lunatic loose. None of the listed defendants have any liability for a lunatic shooting people. This is a bullshit lawsuit filed for...

100 Hilarious Jokes, Because No One Is Too Old to Laugh!

I remembered that there was a time that lawyer advertising was prohibited by the ABA but couldn't remember how and when it all started. Turns out we can thank two Phoenix lawyers (John Bates and Van O'Steen) who put an ad in the Arizona Republic in 1976. The AZ Bar suspended their privileges...

Me and my girlfriend are being blackmailed.

First of all, your GF was stupid to sell her nudes online. It was guaranteed not to end well. Second, all she had to do was block the guy and not engage with him. Keeping the contact was the second stupid thing she did. Third, you getting into it with the guy was stupid and threatening him was...

    Boundary Dispute, Missouri

Let's talk practical, not legal advice. If you put up a straight fence across at 43' you'd give up about 1/3 of an acre out of 14.5 acres. 43x314=13502 sf. If you put up a straight fence across at 22' you'd give up about 1/6 of an acre out of 14.5 acres. 22x314=6908 sf. And you're not giving...
