    Doesn't make any difference. If the contract requires payment of the rent through XX, based on resignation date plus XX, then the contract would prevail. She can confer with local counsel if she is so inclined.

    Are you talking about the form the employer sends back to the state to tell them why you were terminated? If so, that form is not shared with prospective employers. If not, tell us exactly what the form is for and who it goes to.

    There is no LAW that says you cannot come in early. There is no LAW that says you can't take more than a 30-minute meal break. However, the employer can have such rules. I see nothing in your post that would indicate any laws were broken by the employer for which you have ANY legal recourse.
