Employer deducting more from paychecks than authorized for health insurance

Well, I go back to the primary premise, being that the law prohibits deductions, that are not required by law, from being deducted AT ALL without the employee's express written authorization. And not just, "I agree to pay for health insurance", but "I agree to pay XX per paycheck (or XX per...

Yes. Lesson learned. If it sounds to good to be true, it may well be.

    Fired for harassment, first offence

I think you should have known better. If you are asking whether this was a wrongful termination, it was not.

    Favortism in the workplace...

That's all fine and good and you have the right to feel however you want to feel. However, this is a legal site for general legal information, and NOTHING you have posted indicates that any illegal discrimination is occuring.

In answer to the last question, no, not really. He's going to do what he's going to do. However, if he is stalking you and you are afraid of physical harm, contact the police.

PA - Dairy Queen has not paid my son after working for them 8 wks ago.

Don't assume this son wasn't able to deal with the situation. "Support" is fine. "Advice" is fine. Honestly, if they're old enough and mature to have a job, they're old enough talk to their employer about their paycheck and they're old enough to file a wage claim. I have worked for...

    Credit Card Judgement

The OP needs her own attorney. There is NO indication in the OP's post that there is any doubt that she owes the money.

PA - Dairy Queen has not paid my son after working for them 8 wks ago.

The employer had no legal obligation to talk to mom. Mom would have done much better to advise her child how to handle the situation and let him handle it. Teach a man to fish............................

    Credit Card Judgement

Sure didn't sound to me like the OP was questioning that she owes the money.

    when are paycheck due

My resource shows only that pay is due in WA no more than 7 days after the end of the pay period. There is no mention of the law requiring that payment be accelerated when the scheduled pay day falls on a nonbanking day or company holiday.

    Pension Plan

If I were running this paymenty operation (and I have paid pensioners in the past), I would have just started withholding going forward. However, there is no law I know of that would prevent the payer from taking the whole net from the next two payments for the back taxes. Someone else might.
