unemployment benefits stop from my previous employer

It's still a huge dense block o' text. Paragraphs and white space, PLEASE.

    Tolling a statute

OP, your reference applies to requesting the leave to START with, not the ongoing company requirement to call in when you're going to be absent. In this case, I agree with Army Judge.

    Unemployment after quitting

Did anyone read the cite I provided above? "Lots of work" is not a qualifying reason to quit and get UI. Merely "uncomfortable working conditions" is not a qualifying reaon to quit and get UI. But hey, OP, if you want to take the chance, be my guest.

They're a privately owned site, right? They can cancel your account for any reason. It was probably in the disclaimer you electronically "signed" when you signed up.

unemployment benefits stop from my previous employer

The employer does not "stop" your unemployment; the state does. However, your post is VERY hard to read with no paragraphs or white space, no capitalization, and run-on sentences. We're not texting here. If you edit it so that it is readable, I'll be happy to offer my opinion.

wrongly accused of breaking company policy

I don't see what HR can, or even should, do for you. It's the manager's job to manage his employees, not HR's.

wrongly accused of breaking company policy

Nothing, really, unless the employer will allow you to place a rebuttal in your personnel file (a very few states require that the employer allow this, but I don't know if NJ is one of them). Obviously, if you didn't do this, somebody has it out for you. It is unfortunate that the employer...

    Property Damage Policy at workplace

I wouldn't lose my job over signing thisdocument. If you make even close to minimum wage, or the amount is large, it's not enforceable anyway, specifically the deduction from pay clause. http://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/whdfs16.pdf It's very likely also a violation of public policy...

    Unemployment after quitting

No, it's determined by the UI law, unless it gets to the final stage of appeal. I know the employer does not make the decision, I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. The OP's chances of getting unemployment if he quits over this issue are virtually NIL. And I challenge you to prove...

    Overpaid for 3 years

http://www.nclabor.com/wh/fact%20sheets/wagecomplaint.htm If that doesn't work, she might have better luck with a small claims action, where "intent" might be given more weight.

    Overpaid for 3 years

Doesn't have to be written consent, but does have to be written notification, at least 24 hours in advance, as I previously stated. If I were her, I'd file the wage claim for an improper wage decrease. Even if they gave written notification, I would argue that the intent of the reduction is...

    Not getting paid on payday

Oh, I don't disagree. I'm just being realistic regarding the filing of a complaint with the DOL.

    Fired!

Nope. Washington is an "at-will employment" state, meaning they can fire you for any reason that does not violate a specific law (and this does not), or for no reason at all. It's unfortunate, but it's not illegal. If you have not already done so, file for unemployment benefits immediately.

    Not getting paid on payday

OK, then theoretically, he is in violation of the law because the regular payday has not been met. Having said that, however, by the time you filed a complaint with the state Dept. of Labor, you will have received the paycheck and probably spent it (grin). It can take weeks for a complaint to...
