    Copyright Halloween Mask Copyright Question

The obvious next question is that even if the mask is protected by copyright, does that preclude you from having a character wear it in a movie. Zd touches on this lightly in his first response, it likely depends on just how you use it. Another issue is trademark.

    Copyright Halloween Mask Copyright Question

While it is true that copyright was originally a noun (since the 18th century), it started to be used as a verb in publication in the mid 19th century. It's hardly a 'recent' development here in the 21st century.

    Township Utility Easement

Certainly NOT true here in North Carolina. Easements may be shown for informational purposes, but more often than not they are not. Their granting is almost always buried in some textual description. Being on the HOA board here, I've dug down through the deed and plat book indexes for...

Can a City Council Socialize Ambulance Fee Losses?

Nothing says they can't put taxes on service fees. Anybody who's looked at the details in their utility bills see those sorts of things.

Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse Multiple cases

Sort of. PA does indeed have ROR. It also has a couple of other things: nonmonetary conditions and unsecured bond. Nominal bail is some token amount, something that the defendant likely had on him at the time, rather than the larger amounts of bail. It's rarely used, because judges...

Man Lied About Having a Vasectomy

There is no such law in any US State to my knowledge (just as there is none that prevents a woman from lying about her use of contraception or other fertility status).

Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse Multiple cases

Rule 600 is distinct from the normal SOL rules, it's more along the line of a speedy trial rule, though it's distinct from Pennsylvania's speedy trial law. As for the SOL, in the case of the drug possession stuff, it's two years from the offense. In the case of the motor vehicle offsenes...

    Drug charge after attempted suicide

Wisconsin indeed has a six-year SOL on drug possession felonies. They also have an uncommonly long (three year) SOL on misdemeanors.

    Net Operating Loss for Rentals

You can't go back more than three years on filing. You should have been filing anyhow. YOU HAD INCOME. You were taking in rents. The fact your expenses exceeded the income made no tax due didn't eliminate your obligation to file. Note that rentals are almost always passive activities...

Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse Multiple cases

Rule 600 runs not from the date of the offense but from the date the criminal complaint was filed which likely is no earlier than October. If that is the case, the lawyer was correct in February and is still correct now. Overcharging is not uncommon in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, but...

    auto accident

And if you don't pay off the damages, the penalty is you'll be suspended and it will run until a year AFTER you make full restitution.

    amazon problem

You don't. Go to amazon.com/video and click mystuff. They'll try to sell you more stuff, but you should be able to watch the stuff you already have paid for (unless you only did the "rental" option).

Domestic Violence & Civil Orders Cannot I handle the case like this without a lawyer?

DV crimes have serious implications even if they are only charged as misdemeanors. Do not talk to the police if they come asking (say you lawyer says no, he will for sure). If they press the matter with an arrest shut up and insist on an attorney, you'll need one at that point.

Manager want allow me on wait list again

As long as his reason is that he won't rent to you based on being a protected class (race, religion, disabled, etc...), then he doesn't need a reason to refuse to rent to you. Refusing to rent to someone who backed out of rentals multiple times sounds not only legal but an extremely good idea.

Required to Register as a Sex Offender

You're lucky it's just registration. I have a friend who was convicted of child porn and in addition to the 18 months he spent in jail, he had five years of probation that involved no access to the computers or internet in any form, plus the sex offender registration.

How to filed a lawsuit against a cryptocurrency provider?

Not likely. If they were regulated brokers, you could make a FINRA claim (in fact, your contract with them likely requires you try arbitration first). However, it is doubtful that these "providers" are so regulated. As such, you can try to see if the "provider" will submit to an arbitration...
