Got Billed for equipment I sent back to Direct TV 7 years ago

I had DirectTV do the same thing many years ago. I called and said, "Nope, I sent it back." They said, "Sorry for the mix up I'll remove that charge." I thought about it several months later when my neighbor was having DTV installed. I called them to inquire about new service and they looked...

Negligence, Other Injury Attorney reviewing another attorneys contract

@zddoodah mentioned this but I don't want it to get lost. You are 100% wrong about this. The attorney is YOUR attorney. If this case ever comes to the point where the interests of you and your insurance company aren't the same the attorney's duty is to you, not the insurance company.

    Needle Stick Injury Who Pays?

You should definitely stick with the WC case. In actuality, there really isn't any other legal option for your employer. I will be very surprised if you won't also have to take further tests.

Corporate office and diversity or inclusion

You both realize that the court's expansion of the word "sex" in to meaning "sexual preference" and "non-birth sexual identity" is the only reason that LGBTQ+ people have any protection under the various civil rights laws. Other Criminal Charges & Offenses Can't believe it is a criminal charge

Had it been a boat having the life vest sitting next to him and not on him would have protected him from the crime he was charged with. In fact, he would have been 100% legal in VA.

Medical Bills Was Sued, Plaintiff Didn't Show. What's Next?

I still would contact the court. First, to make sure that they didn't show up and get a default judgment, and second, to file for a motion to dismiss based on them not showing up.

Medical Bills Was Sued, Plaintiff Didn't Show. What's Next?

    Reimbursed for funeral expenses.

I don't know that this is 100% true. While the estate certainly owes for the funeral the OP didn't wire the estate the money.
