Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft 18 Caugh shplifting at Target

I'm 18 years old and got caught shplifting at Store name, I stole a 44 dolar item.
They took me to a room and made me fill out paperwork while the police arrived.
When they came, they just asked me for my name, they didn't ask for an ID or SSN
and all they did was give me a ticket. This hhappened in texas, and i have to travel
out of the country in a few days. I do not wish to go to court because of this, I just want
to pay the ticket and get it over with.
The ticket doesnt say how much it is, Can I just go to the police Dept. pay for it and be done?
I know it's going to stay in my record, But, can I pay it and then leave without probation?
The cops just told me to pay it before the 16 of june but didn't tell me to go to
court or anything..
HELP!!

That would not be advisable as it could result in a criminal record. It might not even be an option since you already have a court date. Start calling Lawyers many offer free consultations.They might even be able to appear on your behalf if hired

I know I know...
But they didn't give me a court date,
they just told me to pay before the 16 and that's all I want to do.
I just want to pay for the ticket.
Please answer me

Once more we advise against this but a simple call to courthouse can provide you with info on how to do as you wish. Keep in mind a criminal record can effect you for life with jobs, scholarships, loans, rentals and more
