Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft 18 years old shoplifted cops not involved... criminal record?

Hello, based off of what I have read off of this site I'm fairly certain that I am okay.

BUT I'm very nervous and need advice.

I am 18 and I was in my local CVS store and got caught shoplifting for 30$ worth of goods. I walked out of the store and the employee made me come back.
So, when he took me to the back room, he got my name, just glimpsed at my ID, took my photo, and I wrote down my address (so CVS could mail me a fine)

Now, my question is, since the cops were not called and he didn't get a copy of my ID (he only took a photo of my face for the CVS data base) does this offense go on my criminal record?
AND will it alert other retail stores to what I've done? Will I be "black listed" as they say?

...Please respond. I'm really, really nervous and this is my first offense.... i'm really really sorry. I WILL NEVER SHOPLIFT AGAIN!

Also, any idea how long it will take my fine to arrive by mail?

A retail store can't fine you.
They can send you a demand to give them a ridiculous amount of money, per your state's law.
You can pay the requested tribute, or ignore it.
If you ignore it, they'll likely leave you alone.
They could take you to court, and if they prevail, a judge will issue a civil judgement that they'll have to try and collect.
The judge won't shake your pockets and take your money.
If you're smart, stay out of those stores, and don't steal.

The civil demand fine can come in days weeks even months. Depends unlike the above I will not assume they will do nothing if you ignore it. I have spoken with some of these agencies and they can be very agressive. There are several options they have in accordance with locals law they can take. None are good for you! Far as other retailers go if the store (you should not have named) is a member of any retail theft database your info is in there and can be viewed by any other subscriber

Thank you for all the help. Really, it has helped put my mind to some rest. I'm going to pay the fine because I deserve whatever I get, and also so they do not have a reason to take me to court. I've caused them enough trouble...might as well pay what I owe.

That's your choice.

But, the trouble you caused was for yourself.

It is never about money, but about your life and freedom.

PLEASE, for your sake, never, never, never, never steal anything again.

That is a very easy thing to avoid.

You wouldn't want someone stealing your stuff, so don't steal their stuff.
