Arrest, Search, Seizure, Warrant 20+years old pv !!!

My father was just arrested they say they have a detainer from another county for a bench warrant that was issued for a probation violation the only thing is he was on probation over 20 years ago what can i do i need some advice please if anyone can help!!!
