Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication 2nd MIP in Michigan

I was walking home around 1am through some apartments at grand valley state university and out of no where an officer stops me and starts talking to me. He asked if i had been drinking and I addmited to 2-3 beers (stupid i know). I eventually refused the PBT and was charged with an MIP and refusing a PBT. Is there any way i can get one of these charges dropped? Also, what kind of punishment am i looking at?

Can you get them dropped? It's not impossible. Will it happen? Probably not. Get a lawyer.

You're probably looking at fines and probation.
