Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft 2nd petty theft in 2 months

I was contacted by police is South Dakota that my picture had been taken leaving a local store with merchandise they are claiming 700 dollars they want me to bring the merchadise to the local police station. They do not even know what was taken you can't tell by the picture and i know they are wrong can you be prosecuted for petty theft first degree by a picture of you leaving the store and nothing else i was not stopped or questioned until 2 days later. I can't return the merchandise they will make me pay for it anyway but i know they can't have film of me taking it because they are wrong on what i took.

sounds like what happened to me, I supposedly stole a TV and a DVD Player from walmart, when asked for the "proof" that I stole it... ie: Pictures and film of it, they refused to let me see it...

Get a attorney......
