Can my landlord give my minor son a 3 day to pay or quit if i was not at home?

Yes.

Please review number 3 (under statute 83.56) which describes the steps a landlord must take regarding beginning the eviction process.

The three day notice can be sent, given to the tenant or left at the residence (often known as the "tack and mail" route). The statute does not require that the notice be placed in the hands of the actual tenant.
