In Sept. 2005 I was pulled over in Fresno County for speeding and had 1/4 Marajuana in the car. I was charged for CA pinal code HS11360(a)Transportation and HS11359 Poss for sale. The highway patrol confinscated the Marajuana, but gave me all my cash back. I live in Southern California and drove up to Fresno Court House for my date to appear, when I showed up for my hearing the court clerk informed me that nothing had been filed by the DA . I contacted the DA office directly and they informed me that they had nothing for my name. The court clerk from the Fresno County Superior Court house Date Stamped my ticket showing I appeared on date stated.
Now Three years later I was pulled over for a missing head light, and ultumately was charge for a DUI and the officer ran my name thru the system and had a $30,000.00 WARRENT out for my arrest.:nuts I booked into the county jail and was told I would be Cite Release for my outstanding warrent and the DUI. I they would not cite release me, because when they contacted Fresno Court they wanted to hold me for pickup. I was in the holding tank for 48hrs before I was informed that I would not be going anywhere and had to post bail. Then they told me I was going to be released again the following day so I did not contact a Bondsmen. 12 hrs after they told me I would be released I was informed I would be staying. So then I made arrangements to bond out. I was incarsarated for 81 hours, for this ordeal that happend 3 years ago and my bad dicision of driving under infulence. Now what do I do about this situation in Fresno?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
