I was fired from my job of 20.11 years in May 2008, because they say that I was doing false returns on the register and pocketing the money of $221 dollars. They said this accured from April 23, 2008- May 16, 2008. They showed me 2 videos and wanted me to explain and I did and I told them and they said no this is what happened. They called the police, they took my name and phone and I was terminated from my job. August 2008, the police called me and said they wanted to hear my side. I talked to a lawyer and they said not to talk to them. because they can make an innocent person look quilty. I'm confused. Also the police said I was a suspect. Never been in trouble in my life. The company is out of state, and the place I worked at is in the state of West Virginia. My husband works for the same company but different location. I haven't been charged yet. What should I do, where will they go from here?
