Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Advice - Contributing to a minor

I need some advice concerning contributing to a minor. I just found out that my minor daugther was present at a party over the weekend and was offered alcohol by an adult. I want to press charges, but have no idea what this entails. What will my daughter have to go through if I choose to do this? I'm very torn about the situation and I don't want other teenagers to face this same issue.

She also shared information with me concerning 18yr old boys having sex with minors. I feel an obligation to share this information because as a parent I would want to know. What does this type of situation entail is charges are filed and what role would the girls have to play? Please advise.

Speak t the law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the home where this is taking place. They will want to speak to your daughter as well. You cannot "press charges", but you can report it to the police who will then take the report and forward it to the prosecutor who will make the determination on charges.
