You should be discussing this with your parents or guardians.

You are required to appear in court on the date and time you were previously told to be there.
At least one of your parents or guardians MUST appear with you.

You are only allowed to speak when called upon, otherwise most of the talking will be done by the judge, lawyers, your parent(s), the victim, and a juvenile probation officer.

The first appearance is very simple.

You (or your parents) will be asked how do you plead?

You (or mama) then says, NOT GUILTY, and you or (or daddy) then requests the court appoint a lawyer (or mommy says we have hired a lawyer).
But, if you have already hired a lawyer, you shouldn't be here.

Last thing, make sure you are dressed neatly, are well groomed, and always say yes sir, or yes ma'am, and when speaking to the judge say, YOUR HONOR.

Don't discuss anything about this case with anyone but mommy/daddy and your lawyer.
Don't admit to anything or confess.
Just keep your mouth shut, and answer with YES or NO (always saying SIR or MA'AM - appropriate; except to dude or dudette in black dress; then its YOUR HONOR).

It shouldn't take too long when they get to your turn, and after you leave, stay our of more trouble.

If you behave properly, you'll get out of this with a slap on the wrist and stern lecture.
So, stop making your life harder, behave.

Leave it up to your parents & lawyer. They will tell you. Your lawyer will get you the best outcome possible.

Good luck & do not get into any more trouble.
