Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Allegedly shoplifted at a store

I was stopped after leaving the store with $25 of merchandise. I was taken to the back and was issued a citation. (deleted). I received a letter demanding $150, my attorney says not to pay, but I do not think this is a good idea. I am also trying to get this off my record. What are the chances I am looking at?

Pay the civil demand the consequences for not paying can be long term and severe. Ask your Attorney about ACD or diversion as plea options to protect your record

Whether to pay or not is a topic of much debate, but ultimately you are the one that decides.
Is there a reason you do not trust the advice of your attorney? Maybe speak with another for a second opinion if needed.

Its generally not the policy of any forum to remove posts as it adds content to site and can be used as reference for other users. If there is a certain portion you want edited or your name removed that might be possible

Agree, some attorneys suggest not paying - your decision. Re-talk to your attorney or get a 2nd opinion.

Contact a "Super Moderator" they have the tools to do this if the site rules and guidelines permit it
