Although its a criminal case does this email constitution slander?

I was the victim of Domestic violence attack. He was arrested on the spot. He is a CEO of a company I was a Vice President in. We have a no contact order until trial date. We had a personal and business relationship.

It seems someone I know decided they and their family would no longer support this company due to the arrest. This person sent an email to the corporate saying they could no longer support this product etc. They recieved a pretty canned corporate responce. Then, the person who responded for the company decided to send an email to the complaining consumer. A personal email from their personal email address.
The person who complained never mentioned anything about names or a singular event. They only stated they would not be supporting this product. This came after they say the arrest in the local criminal/ mug shot paper.
The corporate responded in their personal email mentioned my name, attacked my character , told the consumer she knew who she was and since she wasy friend urged her to hear all sides and pray to God for understanding. Also let the consumer know that she knew some of their friends. It was simply an odd occurance since the consumer does Not know this person. They are bothered that a business response resulted in personal contact.
My question is does the personal violate any no contact issues? Can it be a negative for me? And was the corporate responder wrong for mentioning my name? Is this slanderous? Also there is a criminal trial in October.
Any advice is helpful.

I suggest you ignore the response.
I suggest you let justice take its course.
I suggest you wait.
As far as if anything done violated any existing restraining orders, only a trial will resolve those questions.
 
If you are the VP of this company, you should be talking to your employees to advise them on how to handle this situation and what information you want shared and what you wish to keep private. This isn't a legal issue, it is a communication and management issue. If your employees are slandering you, you have bigger problems. Contacting a professional client is not uncommon, nor is it slander for your employees to share what is true or they believe to be true. If you want them to only share certain facts, you need to tell them.
