Am I wrongfully getting evicted?

I gave my landlord my rent money in the form of a money order for the month of March. She suddenly told me the money order had went missing but not to worry that she can verify that the rent was paid. About two weeks later she emailed me stating she cannot find my money order and I need to pay again with a personal check. I refused to pay again for March and now after Ive paid for the month of April, today 04-16-08 I get a 3 day notice telling me to pay rent or quit. Does anyone have any insight as to what I can do in order to keep my apartment???

Your solution is pay the rent. If you still have your copy of money order you can contact that compnay and have your money returned to you or verified it was cashed. However with no record of payment you still owe rent
