Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Applying opt with arrest record

Hi, I have posted my case already in this forum. I have been caught shoplifting and I have been offered a pre-trial diversionary program and I have completed the program and all the charges against me and the case was dismissed and I do not have a record of conviction. But, I was fingerprinted and there is a record of arrest. My question is I am a student of F1 Visa and I will be graduating soon, I have to apply for OPT which is an extension of my student status, now my question will my application of OPT gets rejected at any case because of the arrest record. My case has been dismissed already and I do not have any record of a conviction and now I am eligible for the expungement of the records, but that takes some time, so will my application of OPT gets effected in any case because of the arrest record. Please tell me this doubt. Thanks.
