Are text messages hard evidence

I want to take this man to court because he doesnt want to give me my money back but most of my hard evidence are text messeges he sent me talking about the money. will the judge allow me to show them to him or her and how affective will it be??? thank you in advance to who ever can help

Whether they are allowed at all, and how much weight they will be given, is up to the judge. Text messages are notoriously easy to fake and might not count for much.
