I was arrested inside of a casino for driving on a suspended license and when I was asked if they could search my car I said NO, but was then told that sense I was on federal land they could do what they wanted. Does that sound right?

Was this on reservation land?

When you drive on a suspended license, there are a number of theories under which your car might be searched. As an inventory prior to an impound, for one. To attempt to locate paperwork such as insurance, ID or registration can be another reason.

If incriminating evidence was found, your attorney can seek to have it suppressed if he can. If you are just mad about the search, then you can do two things: One, get a valid driver's license; and, two, don't drive onto that casino property again.

Even on an Indian reservation you retain your constitutional rights.
As said above, it was likely that a search could be conducted without your consent.
If no incriminating evidence was found then it will be easiest to just forget about it. If they did locate something that is being used against you then you will need an attorney with knowledge of all of the circumstances to assess things accurately.
