Hi, just wanted an opinion on a personal matter. In 2001, I was arrested in Florida for using a handicapped permit that belonged to my grandmother, fingerprinted, bailed out, went to court, paid court fees (150$). Never had a problem from then on, came to the states numerous times as well as had my H1 visa approved last year (didn't disclose the incident). I will be applying for my green card in a couple of months, should I disclose the information or just keep it like this. Can it cause any problems in the approval?

To show you my record it says charge: HANDICAP PER/OBT FRD charge type: misdemeanor Disposition:WH ADJ W/FINE & COST

thanks

It is not the type of offense which would affect your GC petition........You would be okay. But your form I-485 would and AOS would ask if you have ever been arrested...........You would have to disclose it and be honest about it..............Immigrations background check would find you prints when you are fingerprinted for your GC.
