I Had Some Serious Front End Damage To My 2001 Chrysler Due To An Accident. Maaco And Myself Agreed On A Price To Repair The Damages. The First Time I Was Told I Could Pick Up My Car, I Barely Made It Home Because The Entire Computer System In The Dashboard Was Flashing And The Car Overheated. They Claimed They Had Installed An Alternator, Which Was Not Done, They Only Replaced The Old One. They Sent A Flatbed To Pick Up My Car And Told Me To Go To Enterprise For A Rental At Their Expense. Not True; Enterprise Wanted My Credit Card For The Rental. I Was Then Told That The Car Was Sent To A Local Dealership For Computer Analysis, For Which I Was Not Consulted. In The Interim I Had To Give Up My Job Because I Had No Transportation. Days Later, When I Went To Get My Car I Was Told It Would Not Be Released Unless I Paid Over $600 For The Dealership Bill, For Which I Have A Copy That Says It Was $300. Lo And Behold I Was Walking On A Main Thoroughfare When I Spotted My Car In The Pep Boys Parking Lot. Having A Set Of Keys, I Took My Car. I Called The Manager Of Maaco Demanding To Know Why They Placed My Car There. He Said It Was Sent For Wheel Alignment, Again Without Consulting Me; Not To Mention They Have Wheel Alignment Capabilities On Their Own Premises. The Car Has Now Failed In-spection, Due To Emission Problems, Which I Am Sure Was Caused By Their Failure To Restore The Front End As Promised. I Am Seeking Monetary Damages To Get My Car In Shape And For The Various Other Losses And Expenses I Incurred.
