I am trying get an expungement,I just got notice that I have to re-petition because a charge showed up for bad checks written in '93. What do I have to do? I am waiting for the court to call back with more info.
I don't even think the person is alive who the checks were written to.
Why didn't this show up on criminal background checks?
It never showed up when I had gotten pulled over by the police either.
