You've got a problem but first look at the finance agreement. My guess is that the creditor can come after you regardless of whether your friend files for chapter 13.I helped a friend buy a car. Her credit was not good enough to be the primary borrower so they put her as the co and me as the primary. She has now filed chapter 13 and listed the car. How will I be affected?
