Have you heard anything negative or positive on the legal on-line which you pay $39.95 for a year subscription and you file a Chapter 7 online and they walk you through it step by step??

As is frequently said, you get what you pay for. What does "walk you through it step by step" actually mean? If you read the fine print you might find that you will receive very limited services, probably to just filling out the forms and possibly not answering questions analyzing what options might be best for you.

Am I saying that the service isn't good? No -- but I think that many might sign up for it with expectations far beyond what is actually being sold. Be very careful before you buy a product that sounds too good to be true. Chances are it probably is. Marketing is a powerful tool...
