Being denied re-admission into my school.

I was forced into medical withdrawal from my school because of a suicide attempt. I was told I would be allowed to come back if I had sought counseling. I completed an inpatient program, and am finishing an outpatient program as well and I was still refused re-enrollment by the school. So essentially, i have doctors from two institutions saying i'm fit to return to school, and the counselor at my college still says it's not enough. Is this descrimination and/or am I in a position to sue the school?

I live in connecticut, and the school is in connecticut. I don't know if that helps or is necessary.

You need to check your local school or district statutes on such issues.......See if the school has any such discretion to say no and under what circumstances. Only then can you or your lawyer know if you have a case or can appeal.
