Being evicted because landlord went into foreclosure

I am a single mom with 3 kids and the house I am renting, the landlord went into foreclosure. The house was auctioned off and last week I received a notice that I will have to move by Thursday. I am unable to find an apartment in the town I live in such short notice. The landlord will be moving this week and will be turning off the heat and hotwater. I am now confused as to what I should do or what options I have. I do not want to leave the town because my kids go to school there.

Unfortunately, this is happening to more and more tenants as foreclosures skyrocket.

Unless the new owner wishes to continue renting to you, your only option is to find another place to live.
